Over the years we received a lot of questions from our customers. We have collected all this information and combined it to a FAQ. We have put all questions into four different sections about product information, shipping information, payment information and guarantee.

How can I maintain my electronic cigarette?

 

We recommend that you first clean both ends with cotton or paper towels. After that blow with force the atomizer on the side where the battery is screwed.

Now carefully inhale a few times to launch the clean system. The cigarette should now work perfectly!

 

Do your parts fit in every electronic cigarette?

 

No, the parts of our products are exclusively designed and produced for MyCigarette products. Every model has its own refill and parts and it is not recommended to use it in combination with other models or e-cigarettes.

 

Are there any side effects by using the electronic cigarette?

 

Any side effects do not appear on any person and it may disappear when your body becomes accustomed to the alternative way of smoking. If the side effects don't dissapear then please consult your doctor.

Side effects could be: cough, sore throat, upset mouth or stomach.

 

How long can I do with a refill?

 

A new refill should be used within the following 3 days after opening the package. This is because it could lose its quality or could get dry. A refill equals 15-20 normal cigarettes but it all depends on the frequency of use, time to breath and inhalation technique.

With a normal cigarette you normally smoke around 8 puffs. From experience from our customers we know that when you smoke the electronic cigarette you smoke less because if you feel the need to smoke you have enough after a few puffs and you don't have the need to smoke more.

Our refills are seperately package to prevent drying out and losing its flavor. This way we guarantee the best quality!

 

What do doctors say about electronic smoking?

 

Doctors always recommend to stop smoking completely. But this is easier said than done and it will be easier to achieve this bit by bit. By using the electronic cigarette you eliminate the harmful substances and you can also smoke without nicotine.

This means you can smoke only for your habit and to stop when you are ready for it!

 

What is the difference between the electronic cigarette and patches or gum?

 

Patches and gum both contain nicotine just like the electronic cigarette. That is also the only thing they have in common. Most smokers that quit smoking don't miss the tar or the hundreds of harmful substances, the odor or smelling ash trays but they do miss the habit or routine.

Patches or gum can provide a fraction of nicotine which takes time to get in the body while the electronic cigarette only needs 7 seconds to get absorbed by the body. Besides this the e-cigarette gives you the opportunity to continue your normal routine and to have a cigarette between your fingers and to inhale and exhale smoke.

 

Can the electronic cigarette cause an allergic reaction?

 

We cannot rule out a minimum percentage of allergic reactions. Our "zero" (0mg nicotine) refills can be used always. An allergic reaction depends on the sensitivity of the person.

We have never experienced an allergic reaction but when it does and it doesn't dissapear, please consult your doctor. We recommend always parts and products supplied by us.

 

What if my children smoke the electronic cigarette?

 

Our electronic cigarettes models have a locking system that locks the cigarette automatically after about 15 puffs. The security system requires to wait a few minutes before the cigarette will start working again. If by chance children will use the cigarette, there would be no danger of fire nor will it burn.

We always advise to keep your electronic cigarette out of reach of your children but this is also meaning for your normal cigarettes.

 

How is it possible that I see smoke and no combustion?

 

The smoke of our electronic cigarette is simply water vapor which is produced and sprayed by the e-cigarette. The smoke is pleasing the smoker by giving him or her he feeling of smoking a normal cigarette which avoids the anxiety that many smoker have when they would stop smoking.

The smoke is also odorless and also is it vanishing very quickly. This is why electronic smoking is so wonderful because as a smoker you experience the smoking but your environment will notice nothing.

 

Is the electronic cigarette really better than a normal cigarette?

 

Most important is that the electronic cigarette is much more healthier than a normal cigarette because it does not contain tar or any other of the hundreds harmful substances that a normal cigarette does contain. The e-cigarette only contains nicotine and that is the most important advantage.

Each refill equals one package of cigarettes and the price of a refill is half of that of a normal package of cigarettes. From day one you will smoke less than you normal do, because the electronic cigarette gives you the nicotine when your body is asking for it and smoking less means less spending = SAVINGS.

The smoke of the electronic cigarette is no smoke at all but water vapor and therefore harmless to your environment. You can smoke it safely in the car, at home, in your office and even in company of children because PASSIVE SMOKING IS HISTORY!

With the electronic cigarette you can also smoke in public places like airports, offices, restaurants, stadium etc...where smoking is prohibited. Image you that you are able to smoke during a long flight or endless meeting!
 

Which electronic cigarette is better for me?

 

We always recommend our model "Excelente 2010" to smokers who do not smoke more than one pack and half per day. This model is the smallest and resembles the normal cigatte the most.

For chronic and heavy smokers who smoke more than a 1.5 packs of cigarettes per day, we recommend our "Classico 2010". This model offers more capacity and therefore the opportunity to inhale more deeply. It is also producing more smoke. This model is larger and more elegant and available in various colors (white/black/cherry/wood).

 

What kind of smokers are there?

 

There are 3 types of smokers:

1) Those who want or need to quit
2) Those who want a healthier life without changing smoking habits
3) Those who want to use the electronic cigarette in places where smoking is prohibited in combination with its traditional cigarette.

Customers of type number 1 and 2 are very satisfied in general. The reason is that today there is no better alternative than MyCigarette making it the best solution for them and highly recommended. They don't have to miss their smoking or nicotine and ultimately can reduce or stop smoking.

Customers of type number three, always notice the difference between normal smoking and smoking electronically.  

Our products only contain a nicotine replacement liquid in which is inhaled by the smoker to give the smoker a simulation of smoking. The amount of nicotine in the e-cigarette is not higher than a normal cigarette and in most cases it is lower.

 

Why do most electronic cigarettes look similar?

 

Although many e-cigarettes look very similar we want to warn you that there is a big difference in quality. Most important is that the inside can be varying in quality very much!

The electronic cigarette is composed of two parts: one is the electronic part which is nothing more nor less than a piece of technical ingenuity that mimics the functioning of a normal cigarette. We have evidence in the form of certificates for this (CE, RoHs, SGS). We also have reports on the inhalation which demonstrate the absence of toxic substances.

You can compare it with a mobile phone. There are many brands, some more economical than others. They look the same on the outside, but the quality of the mobile can vary very much.

 

What is the difference between MyCigarette and other e-cigarette brands?

How do I turn on the electronic cigarette?

 
By inhaling the electronic cigarette it automatically turns on. You never have to switch it on or off.
 

What is the difference between your electronic cigarette models?

 

The difference is that the electronic cigarette model "Excelente 2010" resembles the normal cigarette most closely. Although the quality is very good, the big difference between the two is that the "Classico 2010" produces more smoke (water vapor) and has more power in the battery and atomizer. For this reason the parts are also bigger but it has 3 times more the capacity than the "Excelente 2010".

 

Do I need fire?

 

No, our electronic cigarettes do not work with combustion.

Can I pick up the products in your office?

 
Although our office is not a selling point exclusions can be made and if wished products can be picked up in our office.
 

Is the order always delivered within 24 hours?

 
Orders are being prepared and shipped in the morning. For Spain and Portugal the orders are delivered within 24 hours. Orders made in the evening are being prepared the next morning for delivery. Orders that are made during the weekend or on Friday are being deliverd on Monday morning because the transport service isn't working during the weekends.
 

Can I sent the order as a gift?

 
No problem, the order can be sent directly to the person and address which you specify. As long as you have the persons name and address this is no problem at all.
 

Can the order be deliverd to another address?

 

No problem, the order can be delivered to any address that you specify with the order.

 

Can I also order with Cash on Delivery (COD)?

 

We offer only cash on the delivery for the following countries:

  • Spain
  • Italy
  • France
  • Portugal
  • Germany
 

Are you shipping worldwide?

 
Yes, we ship all our products worldwide.
 

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

 
The delivery for customers in Spain and Portugal is 24 hours after receiving the order. For other countries it can take up to 5 days but that depends on the delivery service of that specific country.
 

Which company is used for shipping?

 

We are working with SEUR transport company for a better and faster delivery and service.

 

Payment Information


When will my order being delivered?

 
The order is being delivered the next morning as soon as we have received the payment. In case of a bank transfer we will deliver the order as soon as we received the money on our account. In case of creditcard we will deliver the order as soon as we have a confirmation from the bank. In most cases is this immediately.
 

Can I also order by telephone or email?

 

Yes, besides placing your order online, you also could order by telephone or sending your order by email to us.

 

How can I pay my order?

 

We offer several payment possibillities for your order. We offer the following methods:

Is there a minimum order total for Cash on Delivery?

 
In case of using Cash on Delivery (COD) for your order you need to have an order total of € 30,00 (Please see the countries where offer the COD service).

What if the product is not what I expected?

 

Fortunately we have not had any bad experience with customers. We appreciate it if you tell us your experience about our electronic cigarette and our customer service.

In case the product is not exactly what you expected than please contact us. We will try to find a way to fix any dissatisfaction. We don't like any unhappy customers because of the wrong use of the electronic cigarette.

 

Do you also have extra accessoires or spare parts?

 
Yes, we have original MyCigarette parts and accessoires. In case you want an extra battery or atomizer or a car loader for your electronic cigarette. The parts can be ordered in our webshop.
 

When can I contact Customer Service?

 
You always can contact us by email 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. You can also contact our customer service by telephone. Our customer service is available from monday to friday from 09:30 - 14:00 and from 16:00 - 18:30.
 

Do you offer guarantee on your products?

 

All our electronic cigarettes have a guarantee of 12 months. Besides the technical guarantee we also offer very friendly and professional customer service.
